What Should I Do If I Miss A Birth Control Pill?

hi i am on yasmin pill, nine years ive been take in it ,my last period came on the 28 december and i finished on the 1st january .suppost i had to start to tke the pill on the 1st january but i started it on the 5th january on the 7th i had sex without precautions ,am i at risk?

Hi,

Since you have missed your pills consequently for 4 days,the efficacy of the pill will definitely be reduced and the chance of pregnancy will be increased.In such cases you can take emergency contraception within 72 hours to reduce the pregnancy chance.
