What Should Be The Calorie Intake While Having Diabetes And Cholesterol?

Dear sir, im 33 years old male, weight 90 kg and height is 6 feets, having diabetes as well as cholesterol. now im controlling those by using Mefromine tablet as well as by exercising 1 hour per day. please tell me what would my daily calory intake.? thaks

Calorie intake according to your age height and weight should be 1750-1850 . in that less of fat lESS of simple carbohydrates more of complex carbohydrates more of protein high of fibre and good amount of vitamins and minerals. You should reduce your weight by 10 KGS it will help you to control sugar levels and also cholesterol. Avoid sugar honey jaggery ahev more of fibre like salads twice a day. Prefer skim milk take fruits in morning avoid juices . eat sprouts in breakfast three times a week. Prefer channa murmura for evening snacks . take more of green leafy vegetables. Drink plenty of water. Prefer skim milk. Use curds and buttermilk. Lower the DAT content. Avoid fried foods. No butter and cheese . have small and frequent meals.exercise regularly 40-45 mins. Consult dietitian with your food routine.
