What Should Be Done As I Am Having Chest And Back Pain, Shortness Of Breath And Light Headedness?

Hello Dr. Grief: I am a 51year old male with Bicuspid Aortic Valve and an Ascending Aorta measuring 3.8cm, unfortunately I have many symptoms, Chest pain, back pain, shortness of breath lightheaded etc., last Ech owas done 2/13? Any suggestions on how to proced?

Dear sir/madam, you have not mentioned the aortic valve disease. Ideally we have to see the whether aortic valve is diseased or not. By your description it looks like aortic valve might be disease in the form of aortic stenosis or aortic regurgitation. so depending on those you have to have regular follow up. you are having symptoms which more look like realted to aortic valve disease. Better get evaluated by the cardiologist and if needed intervention can be done to solve your symptoms. Hope u find this informative.
