What Should I Do With My Tonsil Infection?

Hello, I've been experiencing off and on sore throat, red inflamed arches and tonsils in my mouth, I have some red bumps on the back of my throat, and I've had one swollen lymph node on the right side of my neck for around 3 months following a bad bout of tonsil infection. Any ideas as to what I should do?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, thanks for the query.
In my opinion , you are having chronic tonsilitis.
Start antiseptic mouthwash , Plenty of fluids , combination of Paracetemol + Ibuprofen , Antibiotic azithromycin , Vit C for 5 days.
Certainly above treatment will give you much relief but if relief is not upto satisfaction level then consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential.
Hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
