Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi: I am an endocrinologist. Thyroid cancer is completely curable. You need to undergo a nuclear scan. If there is any residual thyroid tissue, you require I131 radioiodine Ablation. After that you would require lifelong thyroid Hormone replacement. Thyroid cancer is one among completley curable cancer.
