What Might The Dark Spot On Vagina That Looks Like Bruising Be?

Didn't think I'd be saying this to a person, was just looking for info...I have A dark brown spot Just at the opening of my vagina.. had it now for 4 to 6 months, I had an injury during relations, so I thought it might be a bruise or blood vessel... should I be concerned, Is this something that happens with age? and what might it be?

I am so sorry to hear about this dark spot. If you had an injury during sex, then it could be blood that got collected and has never be cleared up by the body. It may be similar to you bleeding under the toes and it turns black. There is really no major reason to get concerned with this. However, if it should increase in size, become itch or otherwise worrisome,, consider consulting your OBGYN for examination.
