What Is The Treatment For The Seven Month Old For The Recurrent Fever?

G.M Sir, My baby is 7 month old n having fever from last 20 days..all blood test for malaria(test done twice,result negative),chest xray are normal..firstly doctor advised me to give moxclav drops for 7 days, monocef -o 50 for 7days and also told me to give imol whenever baby fever goes over 100...i am really very worried because my baby is not well still...after giving imol, my baby fever goes down for whole day but in night fever reoccured...kindly let me know whatz the reason for fever n plssssss suggest me what shud i do know...

Dear Mr/Ms

One the cause of fever which needs to considered in 7 month old baby is Urinary tract infection.
As other test are negative, it makes the possibility of Urinary tract infection more likely especially if there are no respiratory complaints.
I would suggest you to get Urine routine and microscopic examinatio to rule it out.
