What Is The Treatment For The Positive Hepatitis B And C?

Hello, looking for some help. I tested positive for Hepatitis B core antibody and C antibody test. My physician assistance said not to worry about it, that at one time I was infected by it and my body fought it off. I had the Hyp B vaccine around 1992 in the fire service. I donated blood for a long time and a few years ago they rejected my blood and that's how I found out about this. during my course from police work and fire I have been bitten spit on.. blood on me. what should I do at this point?

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM
Hepatitis C & B are both serum hepatitis. Difficult to eradicate the virus.
Lot of antiviral drugs are being tried with some result. Interferon is also being tried with some results. But many times after stopping the drugs virus again appear in the blood. Please consult gastroentrologist for exact evaluation and management.
Hope the query is answered.
Thanks
