What Is The Treatment For Tachycardia?

I have recently been tested with TSH 6.2 my family doctor said it was mild and didn't want to treat it at all because I have tachycardia. I have an excessive sweating problem where the sweat drips on the floor and I just feel awful and tired of living. Should I get another oppinion from an endocrinologist? I have also had diarrhea for 3 years. My doctor said there is nothing less he can do. Am I crazy?

Hello,
He is right, it's just a mild elevation of tsh and doesn't require treatment but just monitoring. Even treatment will not help you in anyway.
You probably have anxiety which is causing both tachycardia and sweating. Also, get one hemoglobin level checked if not done recently. Avoid smoking alcohol if any.
You should get prescribed tab Ciplar LA 20 mg once a day, which will take care of both anxiety and tachycardia. Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts.
