What Is The Treatment For Strep Throat And Ear Infection?

I had strep throat and an ear infection 6/11/2014. Finished the Z-pack, four days ago my throat started hurting again and my ear is hurting again. I noticed white spots on my throat this past Friday. This morning I woke with my tonsils and gums swollen along with my ear hurting so bad I cried myself to sleep. I also can t open my mouth but a little, its painful. Should I go to the emergency room? My Dr. Is not in til tomorrow.

Hi.
You have to rush to the Emergency Room for two reasons.
Firstly, to get a proper diagnosis as this looks to be follicular tonsillitis along with inflammation of the whole ear cavity, also called as Vincent's Angina, a severe for of oral infection ; and is very serious matter.
Secondly to get investigated and get properly treated , and admitted if need be as it may be really difficult to swallow in this condition.
Get intravenous fluids to tackle dehydration and get antibiotics through this route.
