What Is The Treatment For Sores On The Legs?

I have a lot of sores on my legs over the years. I scratch all the time, and they do bleed. Eventually they heal and even the dark marks disappear, years later. I am recently diabetic diagnosed after a heart attack 4 years ago. I am a non smoker, and not over weight. 6ft and 195ish pounds. 46 years old male. Bad diet, fast food; no veggies. no alcohol either. Is the itchiness related to high sugar levels??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The itchiness is related to uncontrolled blood suga level.
So,it should be maintained under control.
You can use anti histamine such as Cetirizine 10 mg to relieve the itching.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
