for many years I have had pain off and on left side of neck. several months ago pain became constant and increased a whole lot in pain severity, it makes popping and grinding noises in my neck. maybe a month ago i began having fluttery feeling on left side of neck. it happens off and on throughout the day. someone said it meant i was heading for a stroke. is that true? if not what does it mean and are the pain and the fluttery feeling connected?
