As per your complain taken your history of a 24 years old male suffering from dandruff and severe hairfall in last 6 months... As per your history it seems that you are suffering from Seborrheic Dermatitis commonly known as Dandruff and hairfall can occur due to damage to the hair follicles with dandruff.. But in your case hair fall is severe and can be probably due to other causes like Male Pattern Baldness, nutritional deficiency,long standing illness, stress etc.. I would suggest you to consult a Trichologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and microscopic examination of the flakes along with investigations for ruling out causes of severe hairfall like Trichogram, dermoscopy, hormonal assy can help in diagnosis and treated accordingly.. You can be advised to apply shampoo containing Ketoconazole, coal tar, salicylic acid, zinc, selenium, sulfides etc.. You can also be advised to massage the scalp with steroid lotion.. You should also keep the scalp clean and avoid moisture accumulation to prevent infection.. You can be advised to apply Minoxidil lotion over scalp for preventing hairfall.. In case of pattern baldness oral Finesteride can be advised.. Take biotin and multivitamin supplements.. Massage the scalp with olive oil or warm coconut oil.. Hope this information helps..
