What Is The Treatment For Painful Ribs And Thickening Of Intestinal Wall While Suffering From Diverticulitis?

i have pain that has been hurting in upper left ab under ribs...had a ct scan....showed mild thickening of intestine wall with no diagnosis and some diverticulitis....going to a gastrontrologist thursday ..... im worried this all doesnt make sense what is going on

Hi and welcome to HCM,
Thickening of intestinal wall may be due to Crohn's disease. There may be some obstruction of the intestine. Nothing to worry. Anti-inflammatory agents, corticosteroids and immuno-modultors are given for Crohn's disease. Signs and symptoms, detailed examination along with radiological finding is necessary to come into a conclusion. All your conditions are inter-related.
