What Is The Treatment For Eye Discharge And Numbness After Injury?
A lady at work said she was hit by a tree branch on her right forehead above the eye. She said later she felt some drainage coming from her right eye and it felt numb underneath it. I told her to call her Dr. and make and appt. She said they told her to wait 24 hours. I am worried about her.

It seems from the history that the lady had injury following which she is having rye discharge and numbness.
Eye discharge can be because of traumatic conjunctivitis and can be treated by simple antibiotic eye drops.
However numbness indicates injury to a nerve and this requires evaluation by a doctor to rule out fracture of orbit and treatment accordingly.
