Hi, my name is Donna. I have been told that I have dystonia. Now my neur. is saying it may be a confersion disorder? My mri is normal. I also see a psyc/neur and he is calling it dystonia?? I stay confussed all the time! I feel like a ping pong ball! My psyc/neur(he went to school for neur. and then went on to get a degree in psycriatry) anyway he just started me on baclofen about 2 months ago and a low does of valium on top of all the other meds I take. I have not slurred in a long while and the cramping is next to nothing at the moment although my left foot will still curl in and my toes do wierd things but my whole left side is dont cramping and drawing up and getting stuck to the point that I can not be pulled apart. The pain is unbearable!!! My neck has not gotten stuck in a while but that is just it, it will go for months and I will be normal can talk and walk and then BAM it will hit me out of nowhere and my muscle will draw up to the point that I can't even walk!! I cant even go to the bathroom it is very depressing. I dont know if this baclofen is helping or if I am just having a good month? Can you help ease my mind??? Please! Is it all in my head am I a nut case? When I go to my appt I am normal the docs never get to see me at my worst. Except when I go to the er and they have no clue!!! This is crap!!! I was pouring my heart out to you people and it said for free!!!! I am soooo sick of false adv.!!!!! Liars
