My child is 3 yrs old (15 Kg) and he is having cough, cold , fever for more than a week. Initially we dose him crocin suspension for continouus three days. Fever went off but still dry coughing due to which he is not able to eat, sleep well, even what he is eating , he vomits due to extensive coughing. i have been advised for Brycalline syrup, ,allegra and levolin nebulizer (.63 mg). .Doctors advise me to continue using this nebulizer after each 4 hours. i feel worried as coughing is still persisiting and is there any side effect of levolin dose recommended by doc? Please suggest as it looks all the suggested medicines has caused dry coughing and not leading to improvement.
