Was diagnosed with a sinus infection 2-3 weeks ago and was given antibiotic and nystatin for thrush. Followed Rx and feel better but have a nagging cough from a tiny trickle of drainage and I get into coughing spells. My tongue now is very sore- is this due to the nagging cough?
hello, soreness on the tongue could be because of the thrush. You need to do gargles and take multi vitamins in addition . The trickle could be because of the nasal infection and the excess of mucus production . You should take anti histaminics and decongestants . In addition decongestant nasal drops would be of great help. This will decrease the trickle and so will prevent from coughing and further from creating any lung infection. In doubt do reply.
