What Is The Treatment For Cough?

Im having this severe cough and its been going on for a week so far... i have done almost all i can do to make it go away but cough drops, pills, and liquid med. isnt helping for me at all. Now the cough is really bad. im having a serious headache from the coughing and my throat is bleeding too and more like green mucus is coming up. I dont know if this is something that will just go away or get worse as time goes by... because I think that is happening.

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your situation and problem.
You are having cough with hemoptysis (blood in sputum) and greenish expectoration.
All these suggestive of lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI - pneumonia).
You are also not improving with routine cough medicines.
So better to get done chest x ray for the diagnosis of pneumonia.
You may also require antibiotics, mucolytic and expectorant drugs.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
