What Is The Treatment For Constipation And Headache?

About 3 weeks ago I felt constipated. I took some laxatives. I was able to go very little and would get a sudden sharp headache and shortness of breath when I would go. It s been going the last few weeks. Last night I developed a fever and vomiting. I m also been getting headaches a lot! What s wrong

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of constipation for 3 weeks, took laxatives but go very little.
There is sudden sharp headache and shortness of breath if you want to pass the motion. This is due to the excessive straining that is causing the problem, a sort of vaso-vagal attack. Now there is fever and Vomiting.
I would advise you the following:
You should go to ER.
X-ray of the abdomen in standing position to see for gases and fecoliths.
Saline-soap enema till the fecoliths are evacuate.
Tests of blood, urine and stool to see for the reasons of fever you have started to get.
Continue oral laxative and get an additional treatment for fever and headache.
