why do i taste bengay in my mouth after rubbing it on my thumb ? I HAVE THUMB ARTHITIS , AND WHEN I RUB BENGAY OR TIGER BALM ON IT . I CAN TASTE IT IN MY MOUTH , AND MY LIPS SWELL SOME, ANY ANSWER ??

When you rub balm or similar pain reliever on the part some little portion may absorb in your blood and may give taste of balm in your mouth or after applying you have not clean your hands properly then also you get taste.
If there is allergy to balm and you apply your finger tip on lips you may get allergy.
