What Is The Solution For Acute Indigestion, Pain In Stomach And Underneath Rib Cage?

Yes, I think I am having Acute Indigestion? I have pain in my upper stomach area and at times its like I'm being stabbed along with burning underneath my rib cage. I hurts constantly and worst after eating, a heating pad seems to help but the pain will come back shortly after I discontinue using. Antacids may be helping but I really can't tell. I should go to the Dr. but everyone is sick with the flu and I'm afraid I may be a candidate, so I'm avoiding going to the Dr.

acute pain immediately after eating can be due to either peptic ulcer or acute gastritis, continue with your antacids, avoid eating foods that would irritate your stomach, bland diet, juices, try cabbage and carrot juices, see your doctor for evaluation.
