What Is The Remedy Of Cold And Fast Breathing Of 9 Months Child ?

Hello Sir,

my son who is just an 9months old, having a problem of fast breathing, cold and he is under the treatment of COMBIMIST and DROIND nebulization, which seems repetative for the kid, is there any medicine which can cure him completely from this.

Thanks,

Pediatrician 's  Response
Most often cough and cough in children is caused due to certain viral infections but increased rate of breathing could mean development of more serious conditions like pneumonia which might require hospital based treatment. Nebulization might provide some relief but it is hard to comment without clinical examination whether that would be enough for full cure. I would suggest you to vist your pediatrician and to get the child examined without delay.
