What Is The Remedy For The Pain On The Right Side Of My Groin?

Hi. About a month ago I was helping a family member lift two bags of luggage, each weighing approximately 45 lbs. I did not think of anything at the time but about one week ago I began to feel pains on the right side of my groin. The pain comes and goes frequently. How do you suggest I fix this pain without visiting the doctor due to financial barriers?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thank you for posting.

From what you refer I think that you have muscular strain(injury) of groin muscle.
You should take Advil(Ibuprofen) 200mg 1 pill twice a day.
Hot procedures and groin massage is also recommended.

Dr. Behar.
