hi my 4year old daughter is suffering from nasal congestion since last 5 days.she is not sleeping in the night, she wakes up with cough and she says she wants to throw up but nothing comes out,she is not ready to go back to sleep again. now she is exhausted and i am tired too! i will be very grateful if you can help me with this problem.
The most common cause of such symptoms is edema that developed in the nose and respiratory passage due to a reaction, viral or bacterial infection. I would advise the following: - Use pediatric decongestant nasal drops when needed and not on regular basis - Oral decongestant - Antibiotic if bacterial infection is suspected or found and needs a valid prescription - Also, give multivitamin supplements if the problem is recurrent Do not worry, she will recover very fast.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
