What Is The Recovery Time For Bilateral Mastoiditis?

I am a male. 35. 65 kgs. i was diagnozed as having bilateral mastoiditis. it's more than two weeks of antibiotic. but im still sufferring. the doctor said before it was severe and now it's mild infection. can you tell me how long is the recovery period from mastoiditis? thanks a lot.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If you have mild mastoiditis then recovery period is for 2 months. But if it is of severe type then it will recur again and again. Better u continue the antibiotics and anti-allergic. Do a CT scan temporal bone after 1 month. If it continues to have then u may need a surgery.
