Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,
Sorry to learn about your bothersome symptoms.
First you have to confirm the overdosage of levothyroxine by checking TSH,Ft4 and FT3 level.
Depending on their result your physician will suggest you how much to lower the dose.
It varies a lot and i would recommend not to take it for such a long periods (6 months) without checking the hormonal level.
It should be checked every 4-6 weeks until you find the proper dose.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
