What Is The Reason For Not Getting Enough Oxygen To Breathe Properly?

Hi. I am 13 this year, female. This always happens at night. I always get insufficient oxygen to breathe in and i have to breathe in deeply to get enough oxygen. At first i thought it is because my bra might be too tight. But it still goes on even without a bra.

Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Shortness of breath at night may be a symptom of asthma or cardiac disease. Symptom suggestive of asthma are wheezes and breathless at night, frequent colds, sneezing, running nose, known allergies, family history etc.
You may go for a simple breathing test called spirometry with reversibility testing to have an idea of asthma.
If it is the diagnosis, you willbe readily relieved by inhaled bronchodilator like combination of formoterl and budesonide ...just two puffs twice daily....

Meet the chest physician of your area..

Best wishes
