What Is The Prognosis Of The Patient Who Has Undergone Volvulus Repair?

volvulus repair
What is the prognosis do for someone who had a volvulus repair? They informed me this was most likely congenital. I was 25 at the time and they told NE this typically happens in older patients. I have flare ups of blockage from scar tissue which causes me to go on a clear liquid diet for 2 to 3 days. What can I expect as I age? My gastric Dr. only opted fire surgery if the scar tissue got bad enough as he said it comes back.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is all depends upon the post surgical events if ever happens and it can be managed accordingly, if nothing like that happens then no need to worry about this and it is very rare condition seen that some complication occurs if surgery done in very nice way, hope this information helps.
