What Is The Procedure For Polyp Removal Which Is Very Big?

I had a colonoscopy today, and the polyp was to big to remove. Colon cancer runs in my family. They sent the piece in for a biopsy and told my husband to call the doctors office today and schedule a time, I guess for surgical removal of the rest of the polyp. Should I be scared? How exactly do the cut out a polyp?

you need not get scared, as removal of polyp doesn't get u any major serious complications. It is done through colonoscopy and is removed under vision in total with wide excision round the base of polyp
