What Is The Necessity Of Increasing The Dosage Of Thyroxine Gradually At Old Age?

Hi I am hard of hearing and lip-reading. I got thyroid blood test result that I needed to increase my thyroxine tablet 100 mg so my doctor gave me a new course for my prescription. My previous thyroxine tablet was 50 mg first, and then increased 75 mg and then increased 100 mg. Is it getting worse when I am older? Am I right? Why? I am really worrying about my job because I am always getting very tired and no energy at all. My job is always very busy and on going without break such as lunch and coffee break. I am 51 years old. I might not be able to work properly when I am getting old. If I am taking increased tablet such as 200 mg in the future, Is it stopping and increasing upwards to 200 mg or 250 mg or 300 mg.

Thyroxine dosage doesn't increase with age but with the levels of Thyroid stimulating hormone in blood.
Depending on the TSH levels Your Endocrinologist prescribes the medicine so please do not worry as the Dose won't be increased more than 100 Mcg, And to avoid depression kindly try doing a brisk walking for half an hour and Yoga.
