i have tachycardia with heart rate up to 120 bpm, my echo showed trivial mitral valve prolapse with trivial tricuspid regurge, my question is: will there be any problems with vaginal delivery? is C.S can be done or needs precautions? what is most safe method for labour?
Hello, I can understand your concern and if i were your treating doctor, i would definitely go for planned C.S., because during vaginal deliveries, there are chances of more blood loss and that can affect your heart function. Also in vaginal deliveries, it takes time and you can be exhausted during that time. You have not mentioned about your BP. My advise to you in mitral valve prolapse and tricuspid regurgitation, you must plan C.S., which is more safe for you and your baby. Hope this will help you.
