What Is The Meaning Of Bulky Uterus And Intrauterine Hyperechoic Tissue?

USS shows a bulky uterus with an AP diameter of 5.8cm. The uterine outline is regular. There is intrauterine hyperechoic tissue in the mid cavity suspected to be retained product of conception.Both Adnexa appear free. Pouch of Douglas is empty. No cyst. No Fabroid

Thanks for writing to HCM

According to the reports,there are hyperechoic structures within the mid cavity of uterus and it may be retained products of conception.
You need clinical correlation like history of vaginal bleeding.You may need dilatation and curettage.
Uterus is normal in size,shape and position.
Both adnexa appears normal.
No e/o free fluid in POD.
No e/o cyst ,fibroid.
