Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

I will explain your ultrasound report in simple language.

The normal uterus is located between the urinary bladder and the pouch of douglas. The orientation of the uterus is anterverted and this is normal. The measurement of uterus should not be greater than 80 mm in length and your report shows normal measuring uterus.

The myometrium is wall of uterus and homogeneous means it is normal.

The endometrial thickening is the central area of the uterus and if it measures 9.5 mm then is it normal.

The ovaries are enlarged. The volume of the ovary should be less than 10 cc. It is 17.8 cc on the right side and 15.6 cc on the left side. There is peripherally arranged follicles in the ovaries. These findings show that you have polycystic ovaries. It happens due to hormonal imbalance.

In conclusion, you have polycystic ovary disease and this is from hormonal imbalance. It is treated with medicines and follow up ultrasound is required after 3 months. Please do not worry.
