Hi Doctor, I´m sorry my English is not good, but I can communicate with you. I´m 51 years old, 70 k and 166 tall. I have a cervical dystonia since 2005. The disease started after emotional problems. I have had dystonia in 1994 blepharospasm, I had my eyes closed for 6 months and after many treatments with antidepressants, anthroposophy, spiritual surgery... I had my eye open. Now the problem is in my neck, it turns left. The problem started with soft moviment, when I touched my head in my bed, in sofa... I didn´t have when I was in gravity. The problems started to be worst year by year. I didn´t know that was the same problem. I went in the same Neurologist that I went in the past, in 1994, and he told me that I had cervical dystonia. I had many problems for sleeping, my head didn´t stop. The Doctor gave me a medicine to relax my muscle and antidepressant. I felt better, but the problem continued and I observed that I felt worst when I was nervous. In the end of 2008 I started to put Botox and my neck started to change after 3 aplication, 9 months, The problem in my neck started to move for the gravity and it stopped when I touch my head in a sofa or bed or chair... I went for many neurologist in Brazil and in USA, but my neck continued bad. Tell me please about the surgery, is it good? Can I be cured? Tell me about the risks?
