What Is The Cure For Swollen Eye Lid ?

My eye was irritated because i had something in it & there was little swelling, i went to the eye doctor and was perscribed eyedrops, they helped with the pain & my eye started to open more and stopped watering. Then i threw up and my eye got extremely swollen and insted of under my eyelid just having the veins bright red i now have a huge bright red spot and i also have bruising on my swollen eye lid. Should i see an eye doctor or will this heal on its own?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having irritation, pain and swelling of the eyes. This indicates infective condition of the eyes like acute conjunctivitis.
The treatment of the condition is by use of antibiotic eye drops and oral anti-inflammatory drugs.
The bright red spot which you have referred can be because of subconjunctival hemoorhage seen in severe inflammations as a result of bursting of blood vessels.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for confirmation of diagnosis.

Thank you
