Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had cramping pain around my knee which made it almost impossible to walk. This occurred last night but only lasted a few minutes as I walked to a cafe.
It happened again today as I walked to the local shops. The pain seemed to cramp my thigh as well as my lower limb Should I see my GP
I would suggest you to try few below mentioned points before you see a GP. 1. Apply Diclofenec ointment at knee. 2. Apply warm water filled bottle, heat will relieve cramp. 3. Do not stand for long time. 4. Take Brufen or Diclofenec tablet. If symptom persist or worsened after these measures than get X ray of knee joint done.
