What Is The Cure For Ringing In Ear?

Due to being on a medication called, DUEXIS, 800 mg for 6 weeks 2 tablets a day, I have been suffering from a strong ear ringing in my right ear. I have been to a ear, nose and throat specialist that said that there really isn t anything that can be done. There is no cure for Tinnitus. What should I do next?? Myra

Hi and thanks for the query,
Yes it is true that there is no cure for tinnitus.
But it can be masked.
Keep the radio playing when it is quite.
Tinnitus maskers are also available. Ask your local ENT specialist.
Do not pay attention to the sound. The more you pay attention to it, you will feel that it is getting louder and affecting your daily activities.
Gradually you will get used to the sound and it will not bother you anymore.
