What Is The Cure For Ice Pick Type Pain Above Right Ear?

Hi, I am experiencing for the first time ice pick type pain in the area above my right ear. Awoke this morning with the problem. Took 500mg aspirin but has had no effect. What could be possible cause? Will it go of own accord? What can I take to relieve it? Thank you Monica

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have read your symptoms and after co-relating it it appears as you had developed migraine.

Because you are having characteristic pinching pain not responding to aspirin, it is basically vascular headache.

You may take-

1- Tab Flunarin

2- Tab Paracetamol + Domparidone.

I think this will help you otherwise consultation with ENT doctor will be necessary.

Regards.
