What Is The Cause Of Swollen And Sore Throat?

my throat has been swollen and extremely sore for the last few days and my nose has been so stuffy and now today im hands have been feeling like theyre asleep like the tingles and now worked its way up to my arms and shoulders never had this before and getting really worried

According to history it can be acute viral infection .....

Your physical examination and throat examination esp posterior pharyngeal wall examination and lymph node palpation done as primary Work up ....

Symptomatic management done first ....

Take steam inhalation two times a day ....
Drink more water .....

Short term steroid given if inflammatory swelling more. ...

Excess spicy foods avoided. ...

Avoid smoking .....

CBC and CRP done ....If neutrophilia present take antibiotic course for five days ...

Consult physician or ENT surgeon with keeping this in mind ...
