Hello and welcome to HCM,
A hard swelling near palato-pharyngeal arch could be an infectious, inflammatory, or neoplastic lesion.
Is there any history of pain or discharge from the swelling?
If yes, then probably this is an infectious or inflammatory lesion.
I would suggest you to consult an ENT specialist for clinical examination and relevant investigations.
A biopsy of the lesion will help to determine the origin and nature of the lesion and thus further management.

Thanks and take care
