What Is The Cause Of Left Arm And Shoulder Pain At Random Hours Of The Day?
when I lay on my left side I get pain in my arm above the elbow anf around the shoulder but when I lay on my right side it doesn't hurt as much but even during the day I can feel some pain. It's mainly right at the top of the shoulder during the day.
Based on the description of symptoms, I suspect that the pain in the arm and shoulder could be due to soft tissue impingement occuring due to lying on the affected side.
An xray of the shoulder joint and cervical spine is needed to rule out any other causes producing pain in your shoulder and arm. A detailed clinical examination is necessary to establish the correct cause of your pain.
I suggest you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for further management.
Hope this information is helpful. Good day
