What Is The Cause Of A Testicular Pain?

From time to time I get pain in one testicle. Last night it came on after i had been sitting for about an hour after comming home from work. The pain went on most of the night, but in the morning was mostly gone. It has happened before, but to the other. Should I worry, it is ok tonight.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Alternating pain in the testicles at different occasions are due to infection usually.
Since this has occurred twice, it is required to be investigated by means of tests of blood. Urine and semen analysis.
Get also an ultrasound and color dopler done so that other causes like epididymo-orchitis, varicocele and cancer can be ruled out.
If the infection is the cause, get a prior long course of an antibiotic.
I find this answer helpful
