What Is The Cause For The Pain That Radiates From The Mid Buttock To The Knee?

Hi I have a chronic nagging pain that radiates from the mid right buttock down to above the knee on the outer part of my thigh. I noticed the last time I took amoxicillin for a flu the pain went away. It came back 2 days after my antibiotic course was completed.
