What Is The Cause For Stomach Pain When I Eat?

Hello, Over the past month or so I have been having stomach problems. Well, actually a lot longer than that but when I eat sometimes it seems like the food just sits there and lately it hurts. And when I am laying down if I rub my stomach, pain shoots out from around my belly button. I am hungry and my stomach growls but I am afraid to eat.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Such pain is usually occur due to the peptic ulcer, or irritant foods, or indigestion or worms in the intestines.
Avoid taking spices, junk foods, and oily foods. Also avoid un timely foods to prevent the gastric irritation.
I advise you to consult a gastro enterologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have gastroscopy.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone, albendazole, and antacid gel.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
