What Is The Black Stuff And Blood In My Spit?

helo doctor from past 2 months when i spit are do morning vomit i get some blood out recently it increased from recent past 20 days night time my throught becomes dry i drink coconut water to control dryness and over heatness but no change yellow toilet when i cough and spilt i get some black color mud like substance in spit what is my problem i smoke regular

Hi,

Getting black stuff in sputum is most probably due to your smoking habit and needs to be curbed.
Blood in sputum or in vomiting should be taken very seriously unless proved otherwise.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult your Doctor for preliminary examination and have investigations of blood, X-ray chest, CT scan of chest if needed, Upper GI Endoscopy as minimum investigations to know the cause.
Also send sputum for lab test to find out gram staining, AFB staining for tuberculosis, culture and sensitivity which may help in diagnosis and proper further management in the form of proper medications.
IF this is due to cancer then you need to consult a Cancer specialist, have further investigations and proper management.
