What Is Causing The Heartburn And Ache In Sternum?
On Monday I swallowed a piece of steak that hurt as soon as I swallowed it. Later that evening I had extreme heart pain, not chest pains, that it scared me so bad I chewed 4 Bayer aspirins. About 15 long mins later it was better. Then everyday since I have had heartburn & still aching in my sternum. Could I have torn a small tear. In my esophagus?

It seems that due to taking a piece of streak there might be having some irritation in stomach producing burning and chest pain.
But again you took 4 aspirins which might have precipitated the condition and producing more trouble.
Take omeprazole type of medicine for few days.
Avoid more irritated food.
Take plenty of milk, buttermilk etc.
Ok and take care.
