What Is An Effective Pain Medication?

I am allergic to most pain medications available today. In the past I was only not allergic to two medications, fentanyl and Darvocet N-100. Fentanyl is over kill, but is there a some what equivalent to darvocet that I can ask my doctor about? I know that Darvoet was removed in 2010 because of complications, so I al looking for something that will work for me. Any suggestions that I should ask my physician?

Hi,

You can use Tramadol as replacement after consulting your primary care physician. Also using Gabapentin may be helpful. These are prescription drugs in most countries so you would need to review your doctor first.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
