General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Suboxone contains a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone. Buprenorphine is an opioid (narcotic) medication. Naloxone blocks the effects of opioid medication, including pain relief or feelings of well-being that can lead to opioid abuse.
Suboxone is indicated for treatment of opioid dependence.
Kindly take the medications as prescribed by your doctor and do the necessary follow-up as advised.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
