What Is AUS 800 Implant?
Ok sorry for needing help.
I can not find anywhere the answer re: for an AMS AUS800 implant for the pump itself- what the heck a dartos pouch is? how it is made? made from what? All the images I see don't explain all this. I am serious. I am expecting the AUS 800 pump to be place just inside the scrotum skin you know all that skin we can grab and move around we move our testicle around inside the skin and I expect the pump to be exactly the same way. Pump is free hanging, able to move it all around it is not held or attached anything nor stuck in anything which makes it not free and not movable. So there is all my confusion. Cant even get the answer drawn or a mock up or a model etc while at real face to face doctor visit. thank you. Yes I am dumb it seems. Jim

The AUS 800 implant is used in patients for the treatment of inability to control urine outflow from the urinary bladder.
Dartos pouch::: This is a pouch made by a surgeon by separating the dartos muscle from the scrotal skin. This we use to place the testis in some conditions.
The dartos pouch to keep the implant will have effect on the testis at all.
Over the time this bulb / balloon if implant will be well fitting as there will be fibrosis around it as a normal body-healing process.
So do not go into confusion. The incontinence if controlled can change your life.
